Approximately 1400 miles in, I figured out that the tires go on the bottom. 

I had a flat here.  I have absolutely no idea how, because, as you can see,
THERE IS NOTHING HERE.  In order to get a flat tire here, I would have
to phone ahead to South Africa and have some thorns mailed to me. 

By the way, those two bottles?  I carried them in case I met a local and
wanted to explain what water is.
