the route; from then on,
the missions route (the El Camino Real, if I may be bilingually
redundant) takes you across the
urban hellscape that is much of Southern California.
Riding from Ventura, you pass through Simi Valley, home of the
Ronald Reagan Presidential
Library, where you can see dozens of books that The Gipper started
reading before he forgot
